Athermal AWG 48CH 100GHZ Athermal Arrayed Waveguide Grating
Description:

Athermal Arrayed Waveguide Grating (Athermal AWG) has equivalent performance to standard AWGs but requires no electrical power for stabilization. Athermal AWGs can be used as direct replacements for Thin Film Filters for cases where no power is available at the shelf and they can also be used outdoors over -30ºC to +70ºC in access applications, extending the cost performance benefits of AWGs.

 

The arrayed waveguide particles used in wavelength division multiplexing (WDM-PON) are also referred to as AWGs.This is a method of using a high-speed transmission of a manual optical transmission product. For the transmission method of large-capacity storage signals such as images, telephones, and data, it is only necessary to divide 16 or 32 members into one line of light at the same time. There are also applications in areas that require long-distance transmission.
