Fiber Optic PLC Splitter Description
Seacent Photonics Advanced Components introduces a family of high performance PLC Splitter Modules. The Modules utilize the optical waveguide chips , which rely on the Plasma Chemical Vapor Deposition (P-CVD) technology and its patented fabrication process for providing stable optical characteristics.
The Modules’ silica on silica waveguide and optical fiber array are precisely aligned within an ultra-compact package tested to Telcordia GR-1209 and GR-1221. The package features low Insertion Loss, low Polarization Dependent Loss and high port uniformity . The Splitter modules are available with 1xN up to 64 and 2xN up to 32 channel configurations and also supplied with various connectorized cassette modules
